The world’s leading and emerging economies have entered recessions following the Covid-19 crisis which has served to further deepen inequality across the globe. In turn, policy makers around the world have provided relief by releasing fiscal stimulus packages reaching almost $14 trillion globally – by the end of 2020.

In this podcast we will be discussing whether expansionary fiscal policy tools such as these are an effective tool to curb inequality.
