NBS Networking – a new phase for FIG Norwich

60 members of the local financial services and wider business community attended the latest Norwich Business School (NBS) business breakfast on 25 April to learn more about FIG.

60 members of the local financial services and wider business community attended the latest Norwich Business School (NBS) business breakfast on 25 April to learn more about FIG.

Chair of FIG, Steve Davidson of Marsh, presented an update on the group and its recent activity which is focused on creating and evidencing a strategic approach to establishing Norwich as an internationally-recognised cluster for financial and related professional services.

The event also saw the launch of the new website as a platform for organisations working within the financial services and related sectors to engage and share knowledge.

Steve said “We want to be recognised internationally as a financial cluster and see the website as being pivotal in bringing the key FIG building blocks together.”

As well as improved functionality allowing members to posts news and vacancies, the site now includes a trade directory. This allows members to list the details of their firm, building up a picture of the city’s cluster on an interactive map.
