UEA was delighted to sponsor an award at the Norfolk Business Awards again this year, an opportunity to recognise and celebrate exceptional companies and businesses, and outstanding individuals and teams in the region. This year, the annual awards ceremony was held on 22 November at the Norfolk Showground Arena and UEA colleagues attended with guests from Barclays, Marsh and Lovewell Blake.
UEA’s award category, the Knowledge Pioneer award, recognises ambitious businesses with a commitment to acquiring and instilling knowledge in their organisation in order to achieve their strategic goals. Our four finalists, who joined us on the evening, were Developing Experts, Hethel Innovation, PBD Biotech and Chadwicks.
We are delighted to announce that the overall winner for the Knowledge Pioneer award was Chadwicks, a wealth management firm based at the Enterprise Centre (and FIG member!) who were praised by the judges for placing a constant drive for new knowledge at the heart of their business.
Hosted by comedian Katherine Ryan, whose witty remarks captured the audience, the event was a fabulous success, and a real celebration of innovation and business growth in Norfolk.
