Since its inception in 2022 the Larking-Gowen Autumn Farming Conference has become a must-attend event for farmers, growers, landowners and the agricultural/rural business sector by delivering practical information and advice which delegates can apply to their own situation.
The Larking Gowen Autumn Farming Conference series returns in 2026 with four seminars in Norwich, Fakenham, Bury St Edmunds and, for the first time, Colchester. The expansion into Essex reflects the firm’s commitment to supporting farming and rural businesses across East Anglia.
Seminar locations:
All Saints Hotel, Bury St Edmunds, Tuesday 17 November
Fakenham Racecourse, Fakenham, Thursday 19 November
Larking Gowen, Prospect House Norwich, Tuesday 24 November
Wivenhoe House, Colchester, Wednesday 25 November
Focussing on the financial, legal and future sustainability of the agricultural industry the Autumn Farming Conference series is organised by Larking Gowen, a major independent partnership of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors. One of the UK’s top 50 accountancy firms, the firm has five offices across East Anglia. Its Farms and Rural Business sector, includes one of the largest teams of agricultural specialists in East Anglia and beyond, is a trusted partner and advisor to farmers, landowners and business owners who are responsible for managing more than 400,000 acres.
The overarching theme for 2026 is ‘Farming Roadmap to 2050’, placing the long-term future of farming at the heart of the series. The timing of the series will enable industry experts to share up-to-the-minute information following the 2026 Budget. The seminars will bring together farmers, growers, landowners and rural businesses to consider the road ahead.
The four-location programme will bring the conference to farming communities across Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex, providing access to practical information and advice closer to home.
The events will be hosted by Laurie Hill and Bruce Masson from Larking Gowen. They will be joined by event partners CLA, Ashtons Legal, Beckett Financial Services, Alan Boswell Group, Ceres Rural, Ellisons, Fiducia and Brown & Co.
The 2026 Autumn Farming Conference is sponsored by Virgin Money, Openfield and William Moorfoot. YANA (You Are Not Alone), which provides mental health support for the farming and rural community, remains the charity partner who will receive all ticket proceedings and donations.
