Collaborative Initiative Empowers Entrepreneurs in Norfolk and Suffolk

Founded in 2020, The Sounding Board has engaged with over 70 businesses across Norfolk and Suffolk, offering invaluable mentorship and guidance. As a beacon of collaborative support, not only empowering entrepreneurs in their business journeys but also actively contributing to the well-being of the local community.

The Sounding Board is a dedicated group of entrepreneurs, professional advisors, and business leaders, founded by FIG member Richard Ross, Chadwicks. Are hosting a special business event this October, aimed at helping business owners sharpen their focus and drive long-term success. The event, titled “Focussing on You,” will address the challenge of maintaining focus in today’s fast-paced business environment and guide participants in staying aligned with their core business strategies.

The Norfolk Community Foundation’s Nourishing Norfolk campaign helps combat food insecurity across the region.

Unlike traditional mentorship programs, The Sounding Board emphasises the importance of guiding, not dictating, decisions. The team believes that sharing experiences and insights can lead to better outcomes for business leaders seeking to overcome obstacles. The mentors, having “been there and done it,” provide invaluable perspectives to help entrepreneurs reflect on their businesses and make informed decisions.

The “Focussing on You” event will bring together like-minded business leaders for a half-day workshop designed to help them overcome the common challenge of focus. Participants will explore practical strategies for staying committed to their goals, managing distractions, and driving sustainable business growth.
