Fintech Future’s Hackathon – seeking FIG members input!

As part of a planned 'Fintech Hackathon' supported by Tech East, FIG and New Anglia LEP we want to hear about your real business challenges

Organised and hosted by Aviva Foundry, Norfolk County Council with funding via the Norfolk Investment Framework will be running a Fintech Hackathon on Friday 8 and Saturday 9 of March 2024. Supported by Tech East, FIG and New Anglia LEP the Hackathon will bring together tech, innovators and business people to explore key challenges, and devise solutions over two, packed days of collaboration! Not only will we be innovating live, but kickstarting the launch of a local Fintech community network!

How can FIG members help?

Aviva’s Amelia Brackenbury-Read says:
“We’re hoping you can help us to craft problem statements centred around real business challenges. The Aviva Team in collaboration with Fintech Futures want to form the Hackathon’s Problem Statement around this insight, so that the innovation that comes out is linked to local business and local Fintech needs.”

  •  What is currently posing a Risk to your team’s ways of working?
  • Where do you see growth happening that you want to tap into?
  • What areas of opportunity can you identify which could spark the most innovative ideas/solutions?

Alongside this, the event is looking to draw our community together and increase accessibility for local bright sparks to engage with Fintech across Norfolk and Norwich.

Please send your ideas (in confidence) to Amelia Brackenbury Read at amelia.brackenbury-read@aviva.com.  We are in the early planning stages, so more information to follow on how to apply to participate and indeed volunteer to help.
