First Intuition, a leading accountancy training provider offering courses for professionals, is thrilled to announce its latest offering: “Getting Started with Power BI for Finance.” Launching June 25, 2024, from 09:30 to 16:00, this one-day online course will equip accounting and finance professionals with the necessary skills to effectively utilise and benefit from using Microsoft Power BI in their roles.

In today’s fast-paced and data-driven world, the ability to understand and use data software tools like Microsoft Power BI is essential for creating impactful reports and dashboards that drive informed decision-making. Designed specifically for accounting and finance professionals, First Intuition’s new course provides attendees with comprehensive training on everything from importing and transforming data to designing interactive reports and sharing them with stakeholders.

“This course will give delegates the opportunity to learn a new tool, Microsoft Power BI, to which they likely already have access. In this day and age, accountants and people in finance need to be able to identify and report on the key insights quickly and easily for their stakeholders. Power BI is a really useful tool to produce interactive and user-friendly reports which can easily be shared with those stakeholders.” Louisa Matheson, Digital Programme Lead, First Intuition

The ‘Getting Started with Power BI for Finance’ course will deliver:

Hands-on training in which delegates will learn how to extract and transform data and build interactive reports, create a variety of visualisations and publish these on the Power BI service

Personalised and interactive training for groups of up to 15 attendees delivered live online by a Power BI expert

Practical insights and best practices in Power BI tailored to the needs of accounting and finance professionals

Registrations for the course are now open, with a fee of £400 (excl. VAT) per delegate. Given the limited capacity, interested individuals are encouraged to secure their spots as soon as possible to avoid missing out on a place and stay ahead in the digital age.
