Accountancy and business advisory firm, Larking Gowen, has announced a new appointment to its North Norfolk team. Joanna Burton joins the leading East Anglian firm as a Director, working from its Norfolk offices, bringing with her a wealth of commercial and industry experience.

Joanna Burton joins the leading East Anglian firm as a Director, working from its Norfolk offices, bringing with her a wealth of commercial and industry experience.

She first joined Larking Gowen as a trainee in 1998, where she qualified as a Chartered Accountant before deciding to pursue the next stage of her career, in industry. Working in a number of sectors including manufacturing and engineering, and most recently as Finance Director for a wholesale, retail and ecommerce business.

Joanna said she was looking forward to supporting the wide variety of individuals and business owners in the region.

“My industry experience should be of value to our clients because I’ve seen it from the other side and know what good service looks like, and what it’s like to be a client. Sometimes you are up against it and having the right level of support from a trusted advisor, and in practical accountancy terms, is invaluable,” she said.

She continued, “I see building trusting relationships with clients as an important part of my role, getting to understand their needs and requirements.

“Larking Gowen is a respected and reputable business in the region, and I’m very pleased to be back with them.”
