Data Protection Officer (DPO) Services

Under the GDPR some businesses will be required (and some may choose) to appoint a Data Protection Officer. Our external DPO Service delivers a cost-effective way to ensure compliance with this obligation as well as offering ongoing legal, technical and regulatory support for your business. We offer three levels of service to ensure an exact match to the specific size and needs of your organisation. By using Cracknell Law, we guarantee that you meet the DPO ‘independence’ requirements under the GDPR.

Shall I Sign?

Our low cost contract review service aims to ensure that you never have to sign a commercial agreement without being aware of the legal repercussions. The Shall I Sign service will provide you with a clear and accurate picture of the risks within a contract and we offer a range of options to suit the level of information that you require:

Snapshot Report (key issues only);
Full Report (major, material and minor issues);
Full Mark-Up of Agreement; and
Full Mark-Up of Agreement with Commentary.

Our fees are based on the level of input required by your selected option. However, we offer a fixed fee for the Snapshot Report regardless of the length or complexity of the Agreement which can provide you with an excellent means of identifying key issues. Following our initial assessment and/or mark-up, we can provide further reviews, amendments and negotiation assistance at a fixed rate.

Contract Negotiation

We have vast experience with negotiating with very large organisations (Coca-Cola, L’Oreal, P&G, AT&T and Walmart to name a few) in a range of sectors across the globe. Our end goal is always to achieve a good result for the client and we are adept at juggling the legal position against the commercial factors and the need to get the deal done swiftly. Where possible, we will agree a fixed fee for contract negotiations. TM Registration

Cracknell Law’s Trade Mark registration service provides a cost-effective means for businesses to register trade marks in the UK. We will conduct background searches for the mark you wish to register and advise on the chances of success. We will then manage the registration process from filing through to the trade mark being awarded.
