Participants needed for financial wellbeing research amongst UK workers

Financial wellbeing is increasingly understood as vital for healthy and engaged employees, however finances are now one of the leading causes of stress among the workforce. Our research team is exploring how accessible financial education may help to combat this.

Norwich Business School and RBC Brewin Dolphin are collaborating on a two-year Innovate UK Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) around financial wellbeing and how employees can be better supported. Part of the project involves KTP Associate, Dr Bryony Davies interviewing UK workers regarding their experiences around learning about money and finances.

With a particular focus on those working in the financial, legal and professional services sector we are reaching out to FIG members and their colleagues to help inform this important research theme.

Financial wellbeing is increasingly understood as vital for healthy and engaged employees, however finances are now one of the leading causes of stress among the workforce. Our research team is exploring how accessible financial education may help to combat this. UEA and Innovate UK need your help to improve our understanding of how to reach employees to support their financial decision making and thus their financial wellbeing.

If you are an employee and would like to take part in a 30–45 minute interview (timings can be flexible to suit you), click for more information or to book a slot. If you are an employer and would like to learn more about how you might support the financial wellbeing of your employees, please contact bryony.r.davies@uea.ac.uk for more information.
